Hello again from Lisbon!
It feels surreal that I'm celebrating my second Christmas in Lisbon. My first one, back in 2020 during the pandemic, framed how I saw the city. It took a while to reset my perspective and appreciate Lisbon afresh.
One noticeable transformation was the Christmas Markets, shuttered in December 2020. Now, they adorn the city in abundance, each a delightful spectacle. Brimming with holiday cheer, delectable cuisine, artisanal crafts, and, of course, mulled wine—they're a delight to explore on foot!
The Holiday Sights
Returning to Lisbon feels like stepping into a storybook adorned with the enchantment of Christmas. The city, in all its festive splendor, exudes a warmth that embraces the soul. The twinkling lights dancing along the cobbled streets and harbors, the scent of roasted chestnuts mingling with the sea breeze, and the joyous melodies echoing from every corner—all paint a picturesque celebration. It's a delightful reunion with a place that effortlessly merges its timeless charm with the magic of the holiday season.
The Christmas Market
Reconnecting with my filmmaking group feels invigorating. During my visits to various Christmas Markets, inspiration struck—a tale emerged about a tight-knit circle of friends facing adversity, drawn together annually by the allure of the Christmas Market. Sharing this idea sparked the formation of a dedicated cast and crew. Bringing this story to life was an absolute delight, a joyous endeavor that we fervently pieced together. I'm thrilled to present it to you, hoping it brings as much joy to you as it did to us!

Finally...
Happy 2024! Wrapping up the year on such a high note feels incredible. It all began in Athens, Greece, then shifted to a six-month stint in the UK before embarking on an eye-opening journey through the Balkans, exploring the wonders of Albania.
The upcoming year kicks off with a visit to the US to reconnect with loved ones, followed by a return to Lisbon for a couple more months. From there, it's back to the UK, again exploring the charms of north England for another six months. With my nomadic lifestyle, planning beyond that seems like a challenge, but that's part of the adventure!
